Shards Terrazzo is a collection of porcelain stoneware tiles that recreates a random and irregular theme on elegant, high-performance surfaces with a natural finish.
The image results from the combination of stones and pebbles, and fragments of different sizes, which compose a bright, dynamic puzzle that adds an elegant and contemporary touch to the room. Shards successfully expresses the desire to penetrate the very essence of the material, exploding its parts to magnify them, and analyse the whole as a combination of individual units. The material takes centre stage, nature draws surfaces, and the random repetition of an irregular mark becomes a décor describing a refined texture, which hints at seminato floorings. Our Shards Terrazzo defines a continuous surface, almost eliminating the borders of the tiles, like a natural carpet that can flow seamlessly from floors to walls and vice versa.
Made from porcelain these tiles are extremely hard wearing so perfect for walls and floor areas with heavy traffic. They are suitable for both internal and external use and are pre-sealed so require no special treatments.
